Phoenix Rising Solutions, LLC is looking to add a part-time (10-19 hours) or full-time (20+ hours) licensed clinical psychologist, counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist to its Elgin office. The office is located North of I-90 off of Randall Road in the Randall Point Executive Center. Candidate must have full, independent licensure: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCP (clinical psychologist) and be skilled in working with younger and older children in play therapy, adolescents, and families, in marriage/couples counseling, or in the arts such as a Registered Art Therapist, Dance Movement Therapist, or Music Therapist. Clinical Mental Health Therapist will also have the opportunity to work with adults and in various groups, if desired.

 

At Phoenix Rising Solutions, LLC, our counseling practice has a wellness approach with a balance of science and a compassionate heart. Attachment, mindfulness, and trauma theories are integral to our model of therapy. We aim to deliver services to the individual, couple, or whole family system. We are interested in an applicant that also has specific training in one or more particular models or other training models not listed but which are also relevant:

 

- ACT/DBT

- yoga/mindfulness

- art/dance movement therapy/music

- Emotion-Focused (EFT) therapy/Psychobiological Approach to Couple's Therapy

  (PACT)/Relational Life Therapy (Terry Real)

- Internal Family System (IFS)

- perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD training/PMH-C)

- play therapy (some examples, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy/Parent Child 

  Interaction/Sandplay/Theraplay)

- Somatic Experiencing/Sensorimotor Psychotherapy/Hakomi

 

Three to five years of counseling experience after obtaining full licensure (i.e., ability to practice independently) is recommended. Full licensure is required. A weekly schedule including at least 4-6 hours on 2-3 weekdays (including some evening hours) and possibly some Saturdays (negotiable). Candidate will efficiently build her/his caseload over time in this private practice setting. This is a 1099 position with trauma-informed consultation and other incentives included (e.g., earned paid time-off, CE/training funds, and stipend for healthcare costs).  A small amount of paid marketing is required to network with other professionals in the overall health, wellness, and educational fields. With all these incentives for a 1099 contractor, it makes a for a very special place to grow as a clinician. Pay rate is 60% per billable client hour based on insurance reimbursement rate. This location is easily accessible from many of the surrounding cities in the West suburban area and close proximity to US-20 and I-88. We also utilize telehealth for clients that desire this type of setting.
